Salesforce: Customer setup instruction

Loop Communications will need the following information to setup your Salesforce integration:

  • Consumer Key
  • Consumer Secret

Instructions to setup API Access

  • Click on the Settings Gear -> Setup

  • On the left navigation under "Platform tools", click on "Apps", then "Apps Manager"

  • Click "New Connected App" button

  • Enter "LoopCommunications" for the Connected App Name and API Name.  Enter your email address for Contact Email

  • Select "Enable OAuth Settings" Checkbox which will show the Oauth Settings fields
  • Callback URL = https://integration.loopcommunications.com/Salesforce/oauth_callback.php
  • Select the following OAuth Scopes:
    • Access and manage your data (api)
    • Perform requests on your behalf at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)

  • Click "Save" at the bottom of the page
  • After clicking save, you will see something like this, just click "Continue"

  • Copy Consumer Key and Consumer Secret (you will need to "Click to reveal")

Send Consumer Key and Consumer Secret to Loop Communications for setup
